Regulatory
Our emerging technology has received early exposure by university research teams for use in carpet and hard surfaces cleaning, mold remediation, chicken and beef processing, and the washing of fruits and vegetables. Early research resulted in test data being submitted to the FDA, which confirmed "GRAS" (Generally Regarded as Safe) approval to the technology in December 2002.
Additional regulatory approvals have been completed with the USDA and EPA. EAU products have approval to be applied to food, food contact surfaces, dairy and restaurant applications. The FDA and USDA regulatory sites are 21 CFR 173, 178, 182, 184 & 198. The EPA site is 40 CFR 180.940.
On an as needed basis EAU is and will continue to seek new regulatory approvals. As we enter new markets and new applications we learn more about our technology. We are in the process of getting approved as an Organic/Green technology. Because there is no Governmental Regulatory body that can give us that needed stamp of “Green Approval”, we have sought out third party industry leaders to validate our fluids. These listings and certifications will allow us to make claims about Empowered Water™ that we currently cannot make.
EAU has retained patent counsel through Bracewell and Giuliani, Houston, Texas, to prepare other patent applications related to the use of Primacide A, B and C in various cleaning and disinfecting applications.
Patent applications, including utility applications, have been filed on the water generator and stabilization process, covering Primacide A, B and C.
